Lock Haven University in PA is starting a women's team! I recently had this letter sent to me--check it out and contact Coach Fike if interested!

Rachel:
My name is Terry Fike, and I’m the women’s wrestling coach at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA. Next year will be our first year for a women’s wrestling team at LHU. We will begin competition in the fall semester of 2007, and we are seeking to identify talented young women who would like to continue their wrestling career at the college level.
Lock Haven is a school rich in wrestling tradition, having produced numerous NCAA Division 1 All-Americans and national champions. In addition, we can claim US World team members and Olympians among the long line of wrestling Bald Eagles, including the legendary Gray Simons and Olympic Team member Cary Kolat. Even before the benefit of a women’s club, The Haven produced such outstanding women wrestlers as Erin Tomeo, Jenny Wong, and 2004 Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann.
If you know of any candidates for our program, please forward any contact information to me and I will follow up on it. There’s still time to apply and be accepted, as we have rolling admissions. We will be a club team next year, so no athletic aid is available, but students are eligible for other types of financial aid. Our plan is to become a varsity program as soon as we are established sufficiently to do so. We will have a very competitive schedule, traveling to Canada, Missouri, Kentucky, and Michigan to seek the best competition. I appreciate your interest, and your assistance in recommending qualifies candidates.
